I've been working on a side scroller action adventure game for a while now. This is Warden.

The game is very pre alpha so please forgive any glitches but feel free to note them in the comments as I need all the help I can get :D

The game is designed fo be a very open ended experience where the player can approach the story however they choose.

The world is a small sort of microcosm I'm putting together with characters having far too many dialogue options for an indie developer. It is a love letter to many games from my youth that stood out to me for their replay value.

The story concerns a sellsword who is dumped by his partner as she deigns to return to her old position in the military, having become disenfranchised by the lifestyle she once romanticized. Having traveled north to a region of the kingdom known as the veil where the Heshen mountain range meets the Green Valley and beyond to Serrena, his potentially new home.

This video shows none of that, instead we have a few dank crypts in the materium (real world) and then into the shatter verse, or Aethereum (spirit world).
