Another long day at defacing public property, it was nice to finally come home. Jasmne likes to greet me for some pets before dinner. Petting her always makes me happy until this happened....
Went to go take a relaxing shower when I noticed this little fellow. Oh Hi, Mr. Spider! How are you? Waaaaait, enhance!
Yup, it is NOT friend! EVACUATE!
Without any of my feathers on, I rush to get Quack Hubby to dispatch the invader.
He always finds it funny that I'm usually not afraid of anything but when it comes to spiders... Yeah, I just can't. I mean, I like jumping spiders and orb weavers but I do not like NOT FRIEND spider. :( (But Black Widows are cool as long as they aren't on my person)
So to say, Mr. Spider went to spider heaven. :| Looks like I won't be taking a shower tonight (nor sleeping) ;-;

I’ll tolerate spiders in the house if they stick to the corners and mind their own business. But the second they surprise me in the shower? Nope! They have forfeited their living privileges.

We have some celler dwellers and a few common house spiders that chill in the corners that I let be. They are spider bros. Recluse, not so much.

If this helps a little, black widows are not to bad its the brown recluse and even that's over hyped and not as bad as media makes it out to be. Black widows can bite grown adult and you may get achy or sore but a single black widow does not carry enough to kill an adult and brown recluse you just have to make sure to treat the area. I always quote a story where two 13 year old kids caught a black widow and got bit on purpose and survived. They wrre trying to be spiderman

I like black widows as long as they aren't on my person. The recluse though shy and normally won't bite, with Baby Dragon in the house, can't take that risk.

That is fair, I just love spooders. Also most spiders know that they cant take down a large prey so they will avoid biting unless last ditch effort. Sadly I dont know how spooders affect infants but its smart to avoid, till dragons get adult scales they super squishy lol

I getcha, pretty web spiders get a pass from me, jumpers are actually kind of adorable...but I still get spooked from some of the more chitinous spooders. About 15 years ago I got bit by a bad one, led to two months of recovery. ...also, Jasmne is a doll.

Again, this isn't a personal attack. This is my observation based on what I see from my unique lived experience. What I don't see is tendons, veins, and I see a hand that is puffier than I recognize as baseline normal. You need to ask yourself why you are trying so hard to shut down the sharing of someone's lived experience. I made an observation and offered my point of view. It's okay that you support censorship of things that may hurt people's feelings, but you should understand that the Human mind is different in everyone, and not everyone is going around asking themselves if their innocent observations might make someone feel sad, you know?
