Ubuntu sucks. Arch based distros are what's up. It's a steep learning curve because Arch is a dumpster fire, but once you learn how to keep it happy, it just works. No tracking bs, no advertising (dunno if ubuntu still does this tbh), and the system just doesn't give you trouble if it's setup all nice and happy.
