Laura Jane* Grace (thank you for the correction!!) is best known for being the lead vocalist for Against Me! but she's got her own solo music as well. She's been based out of Chicago since ~2013 and has three albums out now (one as Laura Jane* Grace and the Devouring Mothers, the others as Laura Jane* Grace) and has a new album coming out as Laura Jane* Grace and the Trauma Tropes in a few weeks as of the writing of this description (June 28th, 2025).

I like how before I submitted I knew it was Laura just from seeing the tats. I love against me, listened to them when Laura was still Thomas even before coming out publically. Their album after that Transgender Dysphoria Blues was amazing.

On Sep 27 (Saturday) they're going to play at Islington Assembly Hall in London. Sadly that's the closest they're getting to Scotland! I do hope you are able to catch the show, as it's Murder By Death's farewell tour. Good luck!

Fuck yeah! Absolutely love Laura! Been a fan of Against Me! for decades now, and her solo stuff has always also been great. Also she’s an amazing trans role model. The album Transgender Dysphoria Blues was the main catalyst that started me on my own gender identity journey.
