As a 12 year old, I was at my brother's baseball tournament. There was an adjacent tournament for 17-18 year old players. I got talking to this dude who towered over me at about 5'10, his team mates were all about his height or taller. Several had facial hair and acne. I thought it was pretty cool that I had seemed to be able to hold a great conversation with these guys and was ready to root for them to win. Picture my face when these guys walked onto the field as 11-12 year participants.
