Like really, I know a little about handling restricted information because I briefly worked as a national laboratory as a student, so had to do the training on what to do if you come across them.
There's a whole procedure and specific people you have to call if someone leaves a file open on their desk, if you randomly find one on the sidewalk that got dropped, etc. etc. And just because you have a certain level of clearance doesn't mean you have access to every file at that clearance level.

I'm almost convinced that it wasn't an accident. Almost everybody in his cabinet is a lightning rod serving the same purpose that MTG and bobert do, which is to distract people. I wish the media would delve deeper into how little Trump knows about what's going on in his administration -- for example, he didn't hear about this major security breach until the media asked him about it, and he claims he didn't sign the Alien Enemies Act invocation. What *does* he know? Someone should go through the list of EO's he supposedly signed and ask him if he signed (and ask for details of what it's about). Expose his senility and/or lack of control of his administration.

I strongly disagree. This incident will not generate any significant consequences for this administration. Perhaps someone will be fired/sacrificed - perhaps someone that Trump has fallen out with anyway. Good opportunity for him to show off.Then the Republicans will consider the matter closed and the news cycle will continue as before. If anything, this incident might prompt them to put a little more effort into not getting caught.
