Found at beach, heavily surfworn. Meteorite expert claims it glassy slag, but I have seen a lot of slag, none looks like this, has some amber crystals and magnetic hematite nodules embedded..very heavy fine grain black...shiny inside bubbles, does not leave streak on unglazed ceramic. Anyone ever seen black slag like this?

Cut it in half, see what the interior looks like.

To expand a bit: if it is a real meteorite, the interior should be much lighter than the fusion crust outside of it.

It's spent untold years in the surf. Any crust is long gone and it is very likely this dark color all the way through.
