It's just backups, the stuff I care about equates to <150GB of data (mostly photos), I delete redundant stuff but will be adding 2x4+TB soon

The 6 gigs don't seem to be a to bad deal, but until WD gets off that shingle shit, imma have to watch out for reds for a while.

My server rack at home is shoved in the back of a closet and has a cat bed on top. On the other hand it's 7U pretty much all disk drives so

I have huge walk-in closets and live by myself so it works fine. I have a Lenovo RD550 and a couple Norco 24 bay SAS chassis in mine.
