MNML / IMGR - A minimal way to experience Imgur

I love Imgur. There's so much great content, but sometimes the website can be too much. I've always wanted to play with the API, so this weekend I built MNML / IMGR, a minimalist way to view Imgur's main gallery. There's no comments, no voting, no sign in, no nothing. Just images and text, and that's it. It's responsive for mobile, including swiping for albums. You can click or tap the images to go to the image page, or the album title to visit that album page.

Check it out and let me know what you think. I'm open to hear any and all feedback.

Nice! Gifs seem to load a bit slow on my phone, but I doubt there's much you can do about that.

Yeah, gifs are just slow on mobile browsers. How about showing thumbnails for gifs to speed up load times, then users would click to see?

I'd worry the context wouldn't always make it clear that it's a gif though. Might be better to leave as is.

Maybe include a play icon or label it as a GIF? I'm not sure what's worse: mix of gifs playing and not playing, or having to tap to play gif
