More people should know about this.

In a Linux terminal window, type 'cal' followed by any year and it returns a calender for that year in formatted text.
Copy and paste into a plain text file and there's your planner for the year.
I only recently made the move to Linux and I have to say, so much of it makes so much sense, I am surprised I didn't know before.
