Almost 100% custom built home cockpit for Flight Simulator 2024. Modeled after the Diamond DA62

The small screen on the left is touch enabled and usually used for the virtual Tablet in MSFS (EFB)

Fully functional G1000 and MD302 (custom built) displays

DIY throttle and aux levers panel.

You're absolutely right, the monitor is my main upgrade that's pending. The sim rig can hold three, I just need to get them 👍

Holy shit. This is amazing! What are those IR thingies under the main screen? Headtracking?

Yeah thats a Tobii eye tracker 5 i use it to have a hands free way of looking left and right. It's setup so that anytime I turn my head slightly more than to the edges of the dashboard the view flips left or right so I can check for traffic and icing.

nice. have you got something that bumps the seat if you do a hard landing?

Nope, this is completely without movement tech.

Can you fly a real plane?

I tried to fly a 737 in a training grade simulator. I could start, fly and land. But no I'm not certified 😅

Like you really ever finish a home cockpit setup.

So can I have like $20?

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You could get a single part for about that 😅

I know how much these setups cost, don't be stingy with that $20. Lol.

Shipping might be the biggest issue to be honest

Shipping? Pfft. You can just send it via PayPal or Zelle.

I would be curious as to the total cost for this setup. Very envious.

Seat 390€, Base Simrig Frame 490€, G1000 screens 2x200€, Touchscreen 100€, G1000 kits 2x200€, GMA350 100€ (used), MD302 (DIY, based on a raspberry pi, around 60€), 3D prints, about 3kg of filament including some misprints ~100€, Electronics and wiring ~250€. So about 2.5k€ hit or miss. Excluding main monitor and gaming PC.

I missed the stick and rudder pedals. Those are both by Virgil, so made by virgins in eastern Europe I assume. Around 1k€ extra for both I guess.
