Mudslide in Norway, update

The mudslide that occurred in Ask Norway has swallowed 9 houses (31 living units), 6 garages and is estimated to be 300x700 meters.

As of right now:

1 person has been found dead, 9 are still unaccounted for.

1 seriously injured, several with minor injuries.

About 1000 people have been evacuated from the effected and surrounding area.

The local volunteer central has started having to turn people away as they are way beyond capacity of receiving any more gifts to the victims.
Food, clothes, gear, hygiene products, daipers, everyone has rallied to help and give what they can.

Sweden has sent a crisis team to assist.

Two dogs have been found and rescued.

They are still classifying it as a search and rescue mission.

Names of the missing people have been released.

None of the dead has, as of yet, been officially identified.

A rescue dog has been injured and sent to the vet.

Update: another body has been recovered, raising the death count to 4. Operation leaders are still calling it a search and rescue, but hope is dwindling at this point.

Among the missing are two children, age 2 and 13.

Update: a total of 7 bodies has been retrieved, several identified. A family and their 2 year old daughter are among the confirmed deceased.

It is no longer a rescue operation, after 6 days and minus degrees weather, chances of finding survivors is considered non existent.
