Yup. I used to put my cats to bed in the bathroom (potty training) at 8:30pm nightly. They still sit on the bath mat expectantly at 8:30 every evening waiting for me to get ready for bed (I usually agree then just watch TV in bed to make them happy).
This is what my cat did for a long time. Around 9-9:30 he'd meow sitting at the hallway to my bedroom. While I was falling asleep, he'd lie next to me. After a bit when he thought I was knocking out, he'd just go off to do cat things.
I one of our cats is fully grown, but she weighs just over 6lb. She pushes herself up against you when you are sleeping and it’s so uncomfortable. Our 16lb Maine coon-type cat is a weightless ball of fluff versus tiny Muffin
Agreed. I love napping but if I truly need sleep they have to be locked out. The old man orange is a serious bed hog and I usually only get a sliver. Old lady void gets ticked anytime I shift or twitch the blanket. And the 2 young ones in the room? Nope, playtime and territory wars ensue. But every now and then I let the big dummies win and let them enjoy nap time too
I disagree, I think it's the number of cats that determines it. I would say more than 4 cats makes someone crazy for cats. (working cats in barns not included)
Good point, but I think also solitude creates the "crazy" image. If there's a couple or a family taking care of lot of cats people don't usually think of them as "crazy", just kind hearted. This opinion coming from a single man with two cats so I feel like "crazy cat lad" applies to me just for that.
truthputer
Living the dream.
Vidikron
7 resident dogs and at least 1 foster dog integrated into the pack. Nap cuddles with these marmots are half the appeal of the naptime.
Aintlurkingnomo
Nine cats...this is my paradise.
RaZorHamZteR
You put the phrase "like herding cats" to shame sir. Well done.

No one this energetic needs a nap
iownmoonshoes
Yeah. The nap possibility is gone after all that.

Socks on marble stairs with cats facing around his feet. This man has a death wish.

If I had nine cats, I probably would too.

Don't forget the Hip-Breaker 3000 cat tree at the bottom of the stairs

We are of the same mind.
Lulabel73
Curved stairs too!

It's amazing none of the cats tried to trip him by darting between his feet while going up the stairs ..like mine do!
heironymousBonk
i mean he also naps with a lamp on right next to his face, so

And no railing.

Napping with the light on??
Amateur.

I can smell this video
Racealistic
No you can't. You have never owned or kept proper cats in your home if you "smell" anything from this.
esparadrapo
The irony of not realizing how not having kept or owned a cat is why people can tell that they smell.
GroovyLiberator
The smell. Of cat toilet.
ironymus
If you want to let your cat know she should come over, try this:

Oh this makes my eyes water...and my throat close up

One of my cats does that if I stay up too late. 'Tap, tap, tap... time for bed'
wabitgirl
My roommate's cat will sit in the hallway and caterwaul until he goes to bed
InkyBlinkyPinkyAndClyde
Both of mine do, they start milling about and meowing at me.
LateNightBunnyParty
I've got one who does this too, and he gets so excited for bedtime every night!
Pandabear71
Oh mine too. He likes to sleep on my spot on the couch. If i go to bed late, he’ll get restless and annoyed.
Kbantar
I had one that when too late in her opinion would pointedly squint at me as if the light were too bright.
PosthumousExile
I remember my cat made me go to bed, waited until I was asleep, then left to somewhere else in the house which woke me up with the span of 30 minutes

This. This is the life.

Having two cats already limits my possibilities of movement so much, feels like they trap me under the blanket like two fat furry paperweights

I would like one please. (Handsome man or cat, I'm not picky)

dude just wanted to show off his huge throbbing house
AllMaktAtTengilVarBefriare
Just look at that rock hard white floor
eastend666
He has the most unimpressive front door and entry way possible if his house is actually huge. And those floors... well, I'll just leave it there.

I'm going to steal that, thanks! Hehe

Is he, like, a crazy cat gentleman?

If I had to guess, I'd suspect a serial killer that identifies with the behavioural tendencies of cats.

Pink pillow on the couch. Fancy doors. Bedspread. Yep, she's holding the camera.

No, he lives with 9 cats

9 cats live with him.

Crazy cat laddie.

I prefer to think of it as a title ie lady/lord
spitfires2000
You from the UK? :-) But you're right...
zqwzzle
Hah no, saw it once and I’ll take any excuse to have more cats.
MaleProstateMilker88
He has someone filming - most likely his partner - so no. Only if you're single you get that title.
updowncenterinner
What if you married also a crazy cat person
MaleProstateMilker88
It would balance out the crazy so it would revert back to normal: "cat-owner".
updowncenterinner
Sweeeeet. So 9 cats would be ok then because it's not crazy when there's 2 of you. Love this.
Bluedinosaur
It was another cat filming.
