It’s about the AT&T box and the DataComm access panel.

Inside the access panel is a bunch of wires. Most of them are just cut and wound up doing nothing. My question is about the coax splitter. You can see there is one input and two outputs. If there are 2 outputs, there should only be 2 coax connections inside the house, but I have 3. How can I figure out which are active/inactive? Or is the source one of the connections? I plan on hooking up an antenna in my upstairs coax and make it the source for all other coax. Is it as easy as switching the source with the output for the upstairs?

Next question is about this box. Wtf is it? I really want to run Ethernet from my modem on the main level all the way to the basement. Well this bad boy is literally right on the other side of the wall that I want the Ethernet port to be located. I opened it up and it was just a spot for a battery. No Ethernet connections. What is it and is there any way for me to use this? The main ATT connection from the telephone poles is outside, so it’s not that.

Looks like the dinky cyberpower UPS's they used with their NID's on site.

Looks like this is ONT or optical network terminal device for translating optical signal into digital signal processor.
