Ceiling mirrors

Assuming you mean without turning or moving the screen... mirrors and bright white stuff (like curtains, open of course or somewhere else on the walls) would work well. Reflection. That or see if there's a tree blocking the sun by the window and just cut it down.

A mirror positioned on the sill below the window, angled so that it shines daylight up toward the ceiling might be the easiest way to do that. I do that in my bathroom using an old automotive rearview mirror with its attachment hardware removed; I just prop it up with a few wooden doorstop wedges to get the angle I want. I know there are extension mirrors you can buy in the auto parts store that would extend your rearview mirror out to make it much wider. Maybe one of those whould do the job.

2. My window is on the south wall and gets direct sun, so even a small mirror gathers quite a bit of extra light to throw toward the ceiling. Brightens up the room quite a bit. Yours may need more surface area than just a narrow mirror strip sitting on the sill though, I dunno.
