New house— Can I use the ev charger port as as an inlet for a generator (after i add an interlock)? How big generator should i get to power whole house including ac?
ABSOLUTELY NOT. Do not plug a generator into that kind of port. You'll have to make a suicide cord, which is very illegal, and you can very easily backfeed the grid and KILL a lineman trying to restore service. You must have a transfer switch with a mechanical interlock to prevent backfeeding. Also, you can easily blow up your generator if you connect it to mains power on accident.
My electrical buddies frown on them as not solving the actual problem. It mechanically enforces as sequence of conditions that results in isolation, rather than being an isolation device itself. You’ve got a modernish panel and plenty of space, transfer switches aren’t that expensive. https://www.electronicshub.org/interlock-vs-transfer-switch/

I'm not going to tell you to make a double-male/suicide plug.

Technically, yes. Practically, please don’t. Put in a proper transfer switch.

Doesn't an interlock resolve this?
