my silly ass wood bed made of repurposed stuff i found around from a broken down deck chair, before putting the electronics in

after screwing in the main circuit board. if i had to do this again i'd raise the bottom board closer or find a single piece. as it is, the connectors sit back from the outside edge a bit farther than i'd like

ghetto open face. too lazy to make a front board that i'd have to cut holes for the inputs/outputs

after applying some wood to the gap in the front

now as an opsix was meant to be played: with a linnstrument!

This is awesome, looking at similar builds. One thing I'm curious about - how deep does it need to be to fit the components? Looks ~3inch?

Thanks to u/Bearboza for the original inspiration, he has a guide for keeping it in the original plastic enclosure, sawed off

in the top photo you'll notice i gashed away some wood from the left side like a drunken beaver. to let the pitch wheel move freely.

Here's a little experiment, a bit like a Shepard's Tone: https://soundcloud.com/tobblestop/molting

Thanks, this is cool! I dabble in music production, so this could be a fun project to work on.

I expect you could do similar shenanigans with any of Korg's synths of the same dimensions (incl. Wavestate and Modwave)
