That'd be cool. I started playing with 2nd edition, but I always loved looking through the older books. Something magical about them. Had some around my house as a kid, so there's an element of nostalgia too.

I had to look at that. So instead of a d20 athletics roll, it’s a percentage chance of success based on your strength score? So someone with an 8 strength couldn’t even roll? Interesting

Yup! And the DM could be like “ok you assembled a makeshift level. Add 15%” it really added the “blind squirrel 🐿️ finds a nut”
