I've seen standard tires go to the 80PSI range because idiots are trying to shut off the TPMS light but forget the spare exists.
You deflate em by standing off to the side and using the longest screwdriver on hand at arms length. Never had one explode, but *damn*.

No, its pretty common for 3/4 and 1 ton trucks to ride at 75 to 90 psi. Their tires are something like 160 psi max.
