That's not how any of that works. Building a jig out of wood and glue is not going to be accurate or precise enough for consistent results, and even if you got a 100% accurate hole, inconsistencies in the straightness of the peg or the concentricity of the two rounds is never going to line up. The final image only works either because a) it's fake, or b) it's literally one piece they cut in half and put back together. Real woodworking you would peg, glue, and sand the seam.
