"AI" the way it exists today at best produces crappy images and video. At worst it is an industrialized plagiarism machine that is being and will be used by rich assholes to replace genuinely creative humans.

I have seen AI trained on datasets that are provided by people. If you want to check it out corridor digital did it with rock paper scissors anime. No plagiarism involved. But I get your point.
