Helped a friend from Ceramics move her new kiln in 2023

She had this awesome power panel: it can monitor each breaker’s power load and remotely be tripped! Need one of these in my studio…

Oh, I’d love to help build a studio! (I’m going to get to practice my knowledge!!) - note: I assisted the owner with construction, they did a great amount of work, I assisted and learned a lot. Thanks to everyone who helped make this happen!

Floor joists in, insulation being added. We need to make a slot for the floor drains…

Trying not to step on these is a pain!

Finally. Subfloor is much nicer, I think this was around the hottest summer evar ?

Got the subfloor cut for drains, and the plumbing run out to the drain field. The waterproofing is installed and we’ve put in like 10 million screws, I swear! Also: no building is square.

Looks so great! Can’t wait to add flooring.

Okay, hardiboard first…. Measure and cut.

All taped and screwed and sealed, soon we can screed and tile.

Big jump forward to the end of 2023. Tile is cut and mortared in. This took awhile!

This is going to be an amazing studio.
