Hehe, the clone is a strong word, but DF Adventure mode is one of the inspirations, and so are ADOM and UnReal World. :)

A lot of really good advice in the reviews for this game, sounds like it could use some ui/ux and gameplay mechanic discoverability work, and possibly some tweaks to stat building and progression. I love games like this, it looks like a competitor to Caves of Qud, so I'm definitely going to check out the demo. EA is brutal! Make sure you listen to your player's concerns when they're reasonable, solicit playtesting feedback if you haven't already, I really want this to succeed! :)
