Recharge it by putting it in the microwave for a few minutes, should return to normal

Don't keep that in your house! The lithium battery is blowing up and is extremely flammable!

When will people learn anything apple is cheap, inferior technology that is massively overpriced?

As a non-mac guy, this is inaccurate. They all use the same thing, just apple has you paying a premium.

I used to maintain NiCad batteries and we had to keep close look out for thermal run aways when discharging and charging.

ive seen the aftermath of a big led acid doing something borderline explosive too. one way to strip paint, skin and floors

Never had it happen thank god. We also maintain sealed lead acid batteries. It has been awhile but I want to say they were both 12 cells

PUT THIS OUTSIDE near ANYTHING FLAMMABLE. Take 5 steps back. Watch free fireworks.

well depends on ops bravery, but that battery is a potential fire bomb in a house...

Id still put it outside but its not going to blow up anymore.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

the newer chemistry in those will not burn like older lipos. The event is already over as it puffed up the bag. Its not a bomb anymore.

i know it shouldnt but at the same time getting it outside is not an unwise move, just in case

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

right, that is why I said putting it outside wasn't a bad move. The gas in the bag is very unpleasant if it vents.
