A "pupdate" on Skye's custom puppy splint from the Wyoming makerspace team

After chatting with @Audra1, we've started the overnight pup splint project. Four of our printers (two pictured here) in action printing different width splints for the growing pupper.

Her original post is here: https://imgur.com/gallery/I0smTcS

What our slicing software looks like with one splint on the plate. We ended up putting two splints per build plate to make duplicates. Eight total splints (four sizes) that range from 1.5" wide to 2.5" wide.

Had to decorate it somehow. Added bonus of making it lighter and breathable.

The idea is hopefully simple -- velcro straps loop through each side, helping to secure Skye's injured paw. Edges are smooth to avoid any aggravation against puppy legs.

Four inches tall and two inches long at the paw.

Add some comfy felt or fabric and you've got one heck of a custom puppy splint. Wishing the best to Skye and her family!
