Looks to be about 18 feet (approx. 5.5 M) but can’t get a good look at the colors and not sure of the area. Could be a young great white, but possibly a tiger
“You know the thing about a shark…he's got lifeless eyes, black eyes, like a doll's eye. When he comes at ya, he doesn't seem be living, until he bites ya and the black eyes roll over white.”
We we're at Fort Walton Beach, in FL. Sitting on the dock, I dropped my flip flop in the water almost right on top of what had to have been a 17' Hammerhead. It was known around the area and would chase tarpon up into the shallows. Biggest shark I've ever seen.
Thanks. That seems to be the only one (besides Japanese rubber-suit monsters of the 1960s) that I can't perceive as a monster. The Xenomorph in "Alien" and the monster in John Carpenter's "The Thing" scared the crap out of me. That was fun.
You know what this video needs tho? Some more non informative text pasted right over where the action is. And some emoticons, too. Yeah, that'll make it better!
A list of waiting songs is called a queue. An action call to play a song is a cue. Adding a song to play next is adding the song to the queue. If the queue is empty, that would play the song right away. Not enough info of OP's intent to correct him like a little bitch.
But the phrase "cue the..." comes from stage and screen where one might say "cue the flying monkeys" etc. For cases of queueing, one would more likely say "queue up the..." so "queue the..." is generally always going to be a misspelling of "cue".
I miss when videos used to just be videos... Now everything is portrait mode, <60 seconds long, has wheezing laughter or a chipmunk voice overlayed, captions + emojis plastered on the front, some random person reacting to it on the side and the most obnoxiously annoying songs immaginable.
It's a basking shark alright. They have a very distinct head shape with the seemingly overextended gills (they filter feed). And yes, they can go quite fast when they want to.

It's usually a basking shark when they're this big. Usually.

going to need a bigger toilet

My uncle was fishing on a 17 ft boat. A tiger shark swam past that was longer than the boat.

I don’t have time to listen to the Jaws theme, I’ll put it on my Spotify cue.

You're going to need a bigger phone. Or at least learn to film in landscape mode.

I am happy to observe the ocean from a distance. I feel no need to go there.

I was never able to view the thing in Jaws as anything other than a prop. I tried.
Redbeard54
That sucks, I’m sorry

Agreed, those two scare the crap out of me too, even seeing them each 50 times
tinyfootprints
Those are the only two movies that have ever given me nightmares. Now the nightmare test is my benchmark for a good horror flick.
Redbeard54
The movie that gave me the worst nightmares of my life was The Reanimator

Correct. You can't call one thing a line. Cue the Jaws tune. You can have more than one thing in a line. Queue the Jaws tune with the other tunes

No worries. Sharks aren’t pointlessly cruel.
smashfaceawesome
They have their reasons…have you been gods, humanity?
trigaranus
It's a basking shark. We are the ones with the cruelty: they filter feed; we fill their habitat with plastic.

WillemHellfire
What about tiger sharks?
shawnemack
They just need to take nibble to see if you’re food
youcancallmesusanifitmakesyouhappy
But they are large and hungry predators
thatusernamehasntalreadybeenchosen
No that's a basking shark. It's a filter feeder. It's basically harmless
TheBunnyPants
So stop being such a snack!
LeviathanOmega
Mostly curious actually. Shark bites tend to be the shark equivalent of 'What Is Dis? Imma find out!'
uden10
And worse, they're curious. Even if they don't eat you, they can take a bite and maim you just for the sake of checking you out.
dwolvin
I don't know why but I think Basking shark, but that seems to be moving to fast...

Yep completely harmless and supposedly super friendly, or at least thats what i've heard.

Whatever it is, with some skis, rope, and brass balls, you could ski behind it.

Or you could jump over it with those skis

It might not be a Great White, but that's definitely not a bull. Bull sharks have a blunt nose

I thought they were small
Cucumberclouds
I stand corrected not as small as I thought
