If this was an app with random 12 items I definitely would.

5 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

But rolling dice is what we love to do.

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

I mean the 12 options are different every time rather than static. You still roll the dice.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It's missing "clingy sportswear" from the Kobold loot table.

I like it, but these are some rich-ass BBEG fodder.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Was thinking the same thing. Values need to be nerfed hard.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

IIRC, commoner (not craftsman) might make like 1 sp/week? So that bandit is carrying ~5yrs worth of income for most peasants.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The players handbook mentions that a skilled but not exceptional artisan could earn a gold a day, it’s not impossible for the bandit to have

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Seems fairly explainable that a successful bandit could have that on hand, of course all this is dm preference

"1d100 Caltrops" the forbidden lego

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This isn't a dump. It's an informative and concise too, @op!

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Excellent. Though a source is always appreciated.

5 years ago | Likes 69 Dislikes 7

If I had one, i'd offer it, but sadly I do not.

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

Wow she has so many!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I mean, the name is on all of them, do you need more?

5 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 2

Yes.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 8

If someone is posting someone else’s creation they should make it as easy as possible for others to go to the source. Such as, a link.

Assuming a standard D12, an upvote is apparently worth a roll of 3.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

You can see the three next to the upvote

"From a mother. Pleas for them to come home." Wow, I did not expect to get my heart stabbed today...

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Did they mean "venomous spiders"? Or are they testing to see if the players know the difference between venomous bite vs poisonous to eat?

5 years ago | Likes 81 Dislikes 3

The spiders are dead, but still have venom in them so now they are poisonous.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Maybe both

5 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 0

Venomous AND poisonous? Well, that makes sense.

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

They're testing for pedantry.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I like your answer.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Around here there's one word for both. Maybe whoever made that is from a country with a similar word.

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

What's the word?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Bird is the word.

TFW Kobolds are doing better in life than you.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"I loot the chest"... -1 arm

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

These items are OP AF for such middling enemies; a dagger that deals 2X the normal damage to humans? A wand of Burning Hands? WTF is this?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Kobold and goblins are very bottom of the barrel, not middling.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Middling compared to an Ankheg or Basilisk, say. They're blown out of the water by something so middle-of-the-road as a standard Ogrillon...

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, I floop the pig.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Are those Spurt-references on the kobold chart?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Are they? I think they are references to the kobold subtype that has crazy pets and gadgets.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I loot this....post!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I drink it up

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Cool...mostly pointless loot

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

DM's can also put rare items and riches in a chest nearby, as most things wouldn't have treasure worth tons on them, it's reckless.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What were you expecting to find? Chances are, they're not going to have the One Ring.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You can tell when a post is useful when it has more favorites then likes

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I'm stealing all of it for later use....

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What kind of values are "1d4"? I don't understand them (clearly I am not a D&D player)

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Dice are written as 1dX in RPGs. 1d4 denote a four-sided die.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The first number is the amount of die and the second is the number of sides on it.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

d[#] stands for a die with that amount of sides. So a d6 has 6 sides, goes from 1-6. the number in front of it means amount of those dice.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I appreciate the info I've been receiving :)

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The random amount you get when you roll 1 die with 4 sides, i.,e. 1 through 4. (A pyramid, or tetrahedron, is a 4-sided die.)

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Oooooh! Okay, thanks.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

X d Y + Z means "roll X dice with Y sides each and take the total, then add Z."

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I saw that extra "Z" # in a recent D&D post that had me like "now what's all this??" Hahaha Thanks for clarifying that for me
