So earlier today someone posted a rage-quit gif onto slack, i was curious as to what happened and why this guy seemed to go full postal and essentially nuke his machine in what seemed to be an eSports match.
Colleagues were obviously sending their thoughts:
- His mum grounded him for not cleaning his room
- He probably just… lost fair and square but can’t contain his nerd rage.
- someone said to him `“just chill man”
- git gud scrub
- Maybe he just found out his girlfriend in Canada is actually a 350lb dude in an American basement?
After a bit of searching i found an article that explains what happened: https://www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/manilla-masters-battle-of-the-rages/ apparently at the manilla Dota2 masters there was an event to allow fans to show off their 'best rage quitting moves' with a stunt PC. Sadly the guy in this gif didnt win.

Dude didn't win mainly because he's the son of one of the judges, but he did a better rage quit than the guy who did win, in my opinion.
