Good luck finding a workshop that can cut your plate EXACTLY at 155.64 by 64.12 :-)

That's just want I got after repeated measurements. I know tolerances are unlikely to go that low, but I figured I'd still input the exact measurements. I'm 3d printing the case for now. As long as the mounting holes and cutouts line up enough to be functional that's all I care about

Me thinking this will be made by a workshop shows my age ;-)

Solidworks is amazing, looks good, curious about the end result

Should be very soon. I switched to an oculink m.2 adapter since it's shorter than mini-sas HD. Waiting on the oculink cable to have all the parts for the final build. Then I'll be working on cable mgmt. Thinking of adding cable tie points (in SW) along the bottom and sides of the case. Also have to get the pi in but there's still plenty of room for that so waiting to see how it'll all look with cables first. Shooting for early to mid April for the completed design

You could make cable tie points, but you're printing it from the ground up,so why not make cable channels for invisible cables

Very true

This journey is inspiring me to have another go at a printed case. Thanks for keeping me tagged! I have to finish my iMac casemod first, but after, I think I might start that.
