Is it maybe easier to favorite the images individually? Makes them easy to use.

I see your point, but the whole dump takes about 7gb of space on my phone. So I prefer to dump them here and download them as needed. Also, I don’t want my favs to be filled with reactions, I mostly use that to save stuff to show my gf every weekend, like ‘look at all this cool stuff I saved so we can laugh at it together.’

You can't favorite a dump, and then later make a comment, go in your favorites, and select a SPECIFIC GIF from that dump. If you like ALL these gifs, you'll have to favorite them one by one.
For once, not a Medialab-enshitification! It's been like that forever!

On mobile, you trap on the gif, which shows the time bar and a fullscreen box. Open to fullscreen and fav it individually. Just like you do with images.
