I have no reason to believe it's fake

It's a kind of trilobite and appears to be real

All I got is a picture on a pixel screen. Pretty hard to tell if something's real or not from my perspective. Take it to your local geology professor (Science Department, accredited college or university). At the very least, they'll be able to tell whether the substrate it's buried in is real or man-made. Once that's determined, the fossil itself will be a lot closer to being verified real. Good luck.

I'm no expert, but that looks fake. The lack of detail makes it look odd and like it's made out of polymer clay. There is the bite test that might help. "Fake trilobites might feel soft to the bite as a plastic would feel. This simple and safe test utilizes the sensitive nerves in your teeth, and would certainly never damage an authentic trilobite that is markedly harder than fakes made of resin. Only slight pressure is needed; don’t try and bite into it for obvious reasons!"

Just visually, hard to say. The fossil itself looks a bit plastic-y, but they can look like that. The imperfections in the cleanup process looks very genuine.

The tribolite have been extinct for 250 million years.

Some [not all] fossils with heavy calcite deposits, will react to UV light. This is not definitive.
I'm gonna say real, based on the extraction marks, and detail in the carapace and eyes/eyestalks.

Scratch a very very small part of the black material near an edge. If the paint comes off, fake. If it reveals more black then maybe real. Then go find a geologist/paleontologist. If real, it's amazing, get appraised and insured.
