I know animal fossils are the cool kids & all, but there's something about Ghost of Leaf that really appeals to me. Thx for plant inclusion!
whataluckygoldfish
Me too!!
Glad you liked them!
Thats only the 3rd or 4th non marine coral or shell related fossil I've ever found. I have a chunk of triceratops rib, a leaf in shale
This leaf and another of the same plant and thats about it lol
HillOfBeans
Neat!
Thanks.
this entire rock is a small piece of a much larger inoceramid clam

Never enough fossils my friend.
I do love finding them! Though these are some of the more interesting ones I've come across. I have several sets of shelves filled now! And
Tons of stuff im constantly working on to slowly extract whats in them.
A labor of love. Lots of fossils here but few quite so colorful. Mostly brachiopods and corral though I did find one that was druzy quartz.
#14 These are incredible!! Don’t think I’ve ever seen fossilised plants before! Super rad!
Cool glad you liked it. My guess is some kind of sea weed but i do not know for sure
