In March of this year, DOGE used FBI agents and three separate police forces in conjunction with a blackmailed private security firm accountant to stage an armed invasion of US Institute of Peace.

Currently the organization, which is completely independent of the US Executive Branch, is still without its leadership who all remain fired thanks to the SCOTUS not commenting on the appeal but implementing a shadow-docket ruling that upheld their illegal firing by DOGE and Trump.
The only reason anyone can figure out that Musk went through weeks of blackmail and casing the joint to get into the USIoP is because they have a cool looking building and he wanted to use it as DOGE headquarters.

The building in question. He was so obsessed with stealing this building that he had the FBI try and break in, when that failed he had the FBI target USIoP's private security company, and when that failed he had them basically put a legal and literal gun to the head of the one member of the company who hadn't surrendered their badge on the way out.

Did DOGE shit on the walls? Because that's what I'm expecting
michaeloberg
They *ripped the logo down from the wall*. That's how petty and ridiculous their efforts are. Just on the face stupidity and carelessness and ineffectiveness (at actually finding fraud waste and abuse), just wonton destruction of important parts of the taxpayer funded government that we actually want and need (but billionaires don't)
FUCK elon musk, he REALLY needs to spend the rest of his miserable life in federal prison for these crimes

... U.S. District Court Judge Beryl Howell argued that the actions taken by administration officials and DOGE to break apart USIP were “unlawful” and that the removal of the institute’s president, George Moose, subsequently installing DOGE official Kenneth Jackson as his replacement and the transfer of USIP property to the General Services Administration must be declared “null and void.”

Yes, seven days ago the SCOTUS issued a shadow docket ruling that suggests they will block that https://www.commondreams.org/news/humphrey-s-executor
