Can we get something like this for the ice and national guard being used against the citizens of their own country?

NG, probably. ICE? Nah, they enjoy being malicious tools.

You mean Vietnam war recordings?

Record yourself reading the applicable clauses from statutes and the constitution. I can't imagine that you could be found guilty of the crime of providing live legal information to both sides present in order to prevent an incident. Dress as uncle Sam??

That's exactly what should be happening.

Question. These guys have little to no choice about being there. Why do all the people protesting go after low level people that can't>

2 weeks ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 21

You always have a choice

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As a professional 5 year shit bird, you absolutely have a choice about being there, it just depends how much shit you are willing to get into to get out of it...

FYI I'm not saying don't protest. I'm saying use your time and energy effectively. This is not effective.

2 weeks ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 6

Maybe it’s not effective but it allows the ones doing it the opportunity to bask and gloat saying that they’ve done their part and got off the couch and did something.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They do have a choice.

2 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Because they DO have a choice. They signed up. They continue to show up to their job doing what they're told to do. They point their guns where they're told to and they happily bask in the 'Thank you for your service!' pro-military culture the US does so well. They're either willing to sell out their morals for a paycheck, or they didn't have those morals to begin with.

If they don’t follow orders one of the actual potential penalties is death, but even lesser punishment is pretty bad when you kinda want to feed your family. Js.

2 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Oh, they're doing it for MONEY! Well gee whiz, why didn't you say so? That makes it all better!

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

I think you’re severely misunderstanding what the military does. And a reminder, the military is made up of EVERY demographic in the US. Even people that are exactly like you.

You don’t just get to quit the military. It’s a contract and the penalties involved with “not showing up” are severe.

It’s also important to understand their oath is to the constitution, not any political figure. The morals and ethics that are imparted on them are far and above better than the average US citizen.

It’s also amongst the most apolitical entities in the US government. All major social changes in the US started in the military - from desegregation to LGBT integration. The military is time and again at the forefront of social change for the better. Does it have its problems? Of course. Like I mentioned before, it’s EVERY demographic in the US and not everyone is ready to deal with change.

You can see the agreement in their faces. They don’t want to be there. They’re not cops. They’re not ICE.

Do you think that when trump says "go to DC and swarm the city", that it instantly happens?
They don't have a chip in their brain, there's no "physical" boundry stopping them from not doing it. If your boss tells you to shoot your coworker in the face are you gonna just do it?

2 weeks ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 4

You have no idea how the military works

"I was just following orders"

2 weeks ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Ah right, my bad, I forgot about wherever you are from, where they obviously make you put on a pair of trousers controlled by a penguin the moment you enlist.
I have attached a picture that I think must be from your home land.

And you have the moral backbone of a used condom, what's your point?

2 weeks ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Affect policy or make a change? Why aren't they doing this at the WH or the Pentagon, or DHS?

2 weeks ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 5

Firstly, that argument didn't work in Nuremberg, it's not going to work here. Secondly, no one is being physically harmed by recordings of Hanoi Hannah being played, it's not like anyone is throwing a sandwich at them

2 weeks ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Nobody claimed they were being harmed. In fact it looks like one of the guys was about to laugh.

I'm not arguing against the protest. I'm discussing tactics. Enlisted on guard duty, have zero power. Why not go protest in front of say the NG Unit commander's house usually they're off base? Or a Assistant DHS Director 100% they're in a neighborhood chant and march 24/7 so they can't sleep. You're not making it harder on the people in POWER. They don't give a shit if you're in the street making life hard on the enlisted, or the agents. Now if you make THEIR lives harder, you will actually>

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

get somewhere. The DHS Director is on a military base now cause of doxing and protests. There's only so many people they can do that with, if you protest from the Top down, you're going to get much better results from the bottom up. The only thing this video does is tick off 4 guys who really can't do anything but bitch about it. This protest is a waste of time, and energy. The key is to make them use resources, make them waste time, this does none of that.

How much time and energy do you believe was spent on this?
