Robots was my absolute favorite as a child until How to Train Your Dragon came out. It's still definitely up there. In fact, I should go rewatch it, it's been many years

My friends are my favorite therapists. Vocalizimg my internal problems help me deal with them.

And they almost threw away the "boy" part of the installation in all the empty cartons and wrapping papers!

everytime I try to confide in my friends I get "thoughts and prayers". if I confide in family I get "stop saying things like that." :-/

Both of them are right, friends will be there to support you if they are true friends.
But also, if all you every are to them is a burden, then you're not really being a friend for them. As if they always have to deal with your burden, then you likely will never be able to help them with theirs.

Better than the Star Wars version!

I don't think I've ever had a friend i felt I could actually talk to.

You’ve got time to find better friends. A friend that you can open up to is a wonderful thing

"Hey, who's the dame with the sweet keister?" Bigweld knew what was up.

5/10 for a tie in video game? That’s above average for the genre!

very true. it was at least functional and coherent, even if very bland and uninspired

I never watched it - I forget why, I think it was just kind of in the middle of a glut of 3D-animated movies, many of which felt decidedly uninspired so I never bothered - and I feel like I really oughta change that.

It's amazing. Give it a shot if you get the chance. The world building in that movie is impeccable. I love the little visual gags

That fits a LOT of movies. There are very few "great" movies. And an awful lot of trash movies. I'll take the good ones as they come.

First half: Cool funny robots. Second half: Capitalism needs to be dismantled.

That’s why it’s great!

Regulated* Capitalism is good, just not if you let it go free. It's a lot like fire.

sometimes the concrete jungles need a little controlled capitalism, lest an uncontrolled capitalism ends up burning it all down

It's like an internal combustion engine in that it's obsolete and could be replaced by a much better engine but oil company profits would die so they'd rather kill all life than not have records quarterly profits.
Real response is: profit motive will always undermine regulation (see Reagan and neoliberalism) so regulation is only a temporary solution until the extreme wealth can bribe enough power (see elon).
Capitalism must end or it will end us.

Capitalism is an engine. If you jam on the gas and give it no resistance, it WILL destroy itself. But if you harness it, and keep it in check, it will take you places.

Dunno why the down-vote, it's an excellent analogy.
