Reminds me to the case in the beginning of the NFT crap era when a dude sold a printed picture of a (then newly released) play station console for like 5k or so (there was a fine print saying it's just a picture)
Quick hint, capitalism doesn't care if it's false, as long as it's profitable. That hotel is probably in a place that actually supports capitalism, so it doesn't have any gov regulations about false advertising.
From Facebook: "Fake e content, it's a show room, This kind of room for potential buyers of Condos or Apartments to show how the rooms would look like when the buidings are done. Not sure about the west but this is pretty normal in Asia a lot of developers have show rooms like this you can visit if your planning to buy their condos or apartment."
A family vaca was once made shittier when the hotel we booked at, which was across the street from a golf course, put "golf view" knowing that people traveling to the GULF wouldnt catch it
That way people can just assume they are pro war anti Ukraine and actively love Putin. If you're Russian online you are a bad person (sarcasm). Because you're Russian and your views automatically align with what your government does. Which is wild since I'm sure all the Americans here would be pissed if someone went "American?" And just started spitting on them since they must be MAGA loving Trump supporters. Since they're American, they must be pro everything their gov does.
There's some tricks that hotels use to make rooms seem bigger than they are (which I appreciate). I really don't think this was anything less than a calculated description to charge people more for a crappy room.
oooh yeah, I went to a campsite specifically because they had a pool with 5 slides, the picture showed what I thought was the end of the slides.. it was in fact, the whole slides, with the stairs carefully cropped off, they were like 10 ft long.
All sorts of handy techniques to make a room seem larger: mirrors, light coloured walls, outright deception, low hanging wall deco, furniture set slightly away from walls, blatantly misleading ads, leggy furniture, etc.

I don't think you are supposed to feel good after watching black mirror, it's psychological horror
InkGoat
It's too damn good at what it's supposed to be, and I didn't like seeing what the world is really like.
