I miss the weekly discussions about WandaVision when it came out. I’ve never been as wrapped up in a Marvel series as that one. I didn’t ultimately like where it ended up (last episode was all the normal Marvel CGI action tropes, a lot of questions left hanging without answer) but it was so different in its storytelling. I gained a whole new appreciation for Elizabeth Olsen’s acting as well.

I miss weekly water cooler chat of appointment television in general. I’m bad at small talk in general, but I never had trouble discussing the latest walking dead or game of thrones. The disruption of binge streaming is just one more reason to feel lonely in the 21st century.
