What do you guys do to stop flys? I have 3 big plants and do everything I can but STILL get them from time to time

Grow them under the water like a proper plant should be. Aquarium plants absolutely have some advantages

Treat your plants & soil with need oil every day for a week- kills fungus gnats, spider mites, thrips, etc. Carnivorous plants help, too :)
