Second silversmithing stake. Anyone know these old Dixons? This one has the name and number engraved or stamped, not embossed in casting like all the others I've seen.

A very early Dixon, or a counterfeit? It also seems like it never had the top ground fully smooth so it could be polished. Or could this finish just be from being left rusty for a long time?

More planishing practice on scrap. What shape should I try to raise first?
