So you could tell them exactly how you feel, or you could just elude to the horrors lurking just outside their knowledge, like how you only see glimpses of the monster in horror movies until it is too late by telling them “ok.” With the period and let their paranoia bloom and fester.
Sometimes the savage thing is the lazy thing, though, too. Building bridges, finding common ground, working to understand what people mean instead of just blowing up at them tends to be harder than burning things down. That said, sometimes people are stomping your boundaries, and it's time to stop turning the other cheek and instead to punch them in their teeth. Life's about balance like that, imo
IMO it's really only appropriate if you'd also say those things in person at that time. It's too easy for words to come out unfiltered when we don't have to say them to a person's face.
Mmmmhm. Now I usually write out what I would LOVE to say. All the insults and bad shit. And then just move onto the next post without pressing send. Sometimes I'll put on my editor hat and trim it down and spruce it up so that I can get my point across without being a dick about it.
