Self improvement?

What starting a new hobby looks like when it involves blades.

Edit: Hey cool, I didn't expect people to guess the hobby. Exactly knife was about the closest, sorta tied with chisels. The hobby is wood carving.

For those of you that are concerned for my digits, I'll be getting the proper wraps shortly.

I highly recommend getting the protective gloves/wraps before starting the hobby, for those that Are interested. Which is probably nobody, based on the pictures.

I've been an amateur wood Carver for 14 years now. Cuts are badges of honor and tell those who get carvings that you love them.
