Old girl Olive practicing a few tricks - she turned 2 years and 10 months a little over a week back, and I'm happy to say she continues to do well!
She's definitely showing her age now, but she remains active, sharp, and continues to love exploring! She also continues to get along well, and her HLD is thankfully not progressing too quickly. Overall I'm so happy to see her continuing to thrive, she really is the best little rat and I adore her ❤️

What is the life expectancy of rats?
BigOrangeCats
Like 3 years and it’s the reason why I will never own them. I love rats since they’re smart and cute but I couldn’t deal with that every 3 years.

If you're lycky you get three years. It's usually closer to two.
