We had our first full D&D session the other night! Prior to this, I had DMed 3 other pre-sessions with various constellations of the group. As we only play IRL- as you can imagine trying to coordinate scheduling for 6 dudes with full time jobs and kids is challenging to say the least.

The Shatterfang enclave...

At this point..they had no idea what to expect...

That smoke is from my son's smoke machine which he insisted that I used for atmosphere!

A big chunk of the session took place in a goblin arena.

At first, it seemed fine.

The first round was against 5 goblins. I ended up using some props from Hero Quest. The status rings we have are also useful, same as the initiate rings.

Luckily there was cover.

The goblin fighters were jacked up!

The 2nd round was against a troll...with a goblin ridding on it's back in a wicker basket (a la Mad Max)

Yeah, I use AI art to help my players- I see no problem with it.

The troll was a BEAST- and ofc, it regenerates 10 hp PER ROUND unless it's on fire or electrocuted. I honestly though they were boned. Stupid paladin has some flame shit that negated the regeneration. Smart move!

Our halfling rogue rolled a nat 20 for animal handling and ended up getting into the wicker basket and controlling the troll with the cables that were hooked up to his cheeks...cheeky bastard.

This did not please the Goblin Chieftan...

The Troll Chieftan attacked from the bleachers- d*ck move.

Alas, poor Sunshine (the Troll) was no more.

Amazing! This looks like it was lots of fun. The use of AI to illustrate the surroundings is a cool idea

Yeah using AI that steals people's art is such a cool idea.

For a campaign with friends. Not that you'd know what that's like. Touch grass

Stealing someone's hard work is fine as long as it's for friends right?

AI art is inherently bad.
