Server setup for ARK: survival evolved

So I have tried following the instructions from servermedia.com on how to set up a dedicated server for ark survival evolved on CentOS 7. I have followed the instructions carefully and i think the server starts, at least by the video I followed. I also know that i need to change the ip address, but i have no idea what it should be. i will admit, this is my first attempt at setting up a server for gaming. I am also not very familiar with server setup or networking. i chose CentOS 7 because: free. I know i could rent a server for like $13 USD/month. but i'd rather be cheap. so any help i can get will be great.
