Spider Monkey Ninja training camp... If I tried to do this, I would have ended up with a face plant on the platform, quickly followed up with multiple dislocated and/or broken bones. In other words, kids can do amazing
Arched backs are a natural part of little kids. Especially little girls. It's virtually impossible for someone that age to not have their back arched. It would be bent unnaturally to do so.
I was once a Level 1 (basic) gymnastics judge. Her repulse off the 'horse' needs more strength and there is a minor deduction for her feet positioning on landing. Those are the only faults I can detect on what is otherwise a perfect vault. Btw, this is a 'blind landing' trick that takes additional skills. Her layout, feet/toes and overall line, perfect.
Don't shoot the messenger folks. In top line competitions judges are primarily looking for errors and/or additional difficulty.
It's amazing what kids can do when their bones are made out of rubber. I used to get a running start to throw myself down the carpeted stairs in my family home so I could electric slide all the way to the bottom on my shins with my feet thumpalumping under my butt the whole way down.
What a fucking insane thing to do. 33yo me doesn't know that girl.
My buddy and I would ride our bikes back to the back of his subdivision where they were still doing construction and we would jump off the hills/cliffs of dug up ground and land in the sand and keep riding. Or sometimes just jump off from a standing/running start and do flips. We were fucking crazy.
Me and my siblings would pile up on makeshift cardboard sleds. Which is nuts, cus the bottom was just a landing. I dunno how none of us ended up putting a head through the wall ...
That's because you were much smaller and lighter then. It's also why kids seem to have infinite energy. Little mass, little energy required for motion, little capacity for kinetic energy, etc.
Seeing kids at the climbing gym is insane. They use techniques that are just not possible for adults. Their strength to mass ratio is just of the charts.

That wrought-iron rigid body as she goes over is a sight to behold. That kid is going places.

Learning to run that fast will be super handy if the Republicans stay in power.

Also her head wasn’t in neutral and her back was arched throughout. 9.6 Tops, prolly more like 9.3.

If it makes you feel better, her career will be over in 8 years when she gets too old.

And her joints ossify.
ServerMonkeyKing
15 years old, but several joints and ligaments are 42 years old. Reminds me of my Army career: left at the physical age of 32 but the body age of 52.

Damn that was good. I was expecting one of two things but wouldn't have been disappointed with either outcome.

What’s that stick or something on her leg?
Beefkins
She has to have that so she can "stick" the landing.
miertfoglaltmindenfelhasznalonev
Ha! Good one. Then, she got the wrong end of the stick.

It's amazing what kids can learn to do when they have the power to shift into slow-mo at will.
Heelcat70
Had to go slow-mo at the end because by then she'd have been moving too fast for us to see. That kid was in high gear!
