I do not at the moment. It's actually a pretty complicated process!

Well, definitely interested in learning about it. I've played a lot GIF internals in working on rendering data visualizations, but generally found it was easier to render raw frames and encode them them to mp4... Which I guess leads to a question: are these per se GIFs, or are they rendered straight to video?

Nice! It depends. Almost all of my uploads are GIFs, with the exception of videos obviously. But I find the best quality, due to imgur compression restrictions are in .GIF format. On my twitter you can see the full quality and it's pretty damn awesome! https://twitter.com/BabyFarkImgur
