Which is a very good sign. There were about 800.000 people in the SS at the end of WWII, if they already have staffing problems with much fewer then that's great. The late SS had a problem with mass shootings and moving dead bodies impacting their mental health to the point gas chambers were invented, and inmates took on much of the work of burying. It's heartening that people balk at the imprisonment stage already.

I'm surprised no one's taken sniper shots at them yet. Not every spot on their bodies is armored, and even if you use non-lethal ordinance; it still hurts like a bitch for a long time.

The reason the SS wasn't punished (only very select individuals) was that you can't execute a million people and have peace after (though there should absolutely have been worse consequences than being recruited by the US to spy on Russia). ICE is comparably small (as of yet), but the same applies - executions don't end a crisis. I get the emotional state this comment comes from, but maybe think about it for a second for real.
