I get it, it's more of a risk for the surgery than it is to wait and see if things get better on their own, but it still felt a little patronizing.

So now I get to keep the blood pressure down, not lift anything over 15lbs, and try not to be anxious until this summer - looks like my beach bod is going to be Christian Bale from 'The Machinist' this year.
