So I've just understood why Sublime text is sublime

When editing, you can add a cursor. Just hold Ctrl and click...

That's pretty sublime.

I uhh, I already tried for you - it doesn't work on the Imgur comment box / URL box.

ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?!?!?!?!?!? Do you have any idea how much time this would have saved me?

Meh, Ultra-Edit multi-carat edits too, and columnar edits.

That's the reason it is easily my most favourite editor right now.

what are you favorite plugins ? I'm still new to it.

I'm mostly using the FTP / SFTP plugin and a ColdFusion plugin. Otherwise pretty vanilla installation.

Whoa! I'm using Notepad++ but I think I will need this feature... Also why use AND

?

OP here, I was going to write when I wrote instead :) But

Oh yeah!

would have been more logical

Extra CSS, that's what I'm thinking. Sometimes you need two containers.

I coud still downvote my own comments :P (but I probably won't)

ouch, hand writing html, sorry OP, that sucks. #haml

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Where do you see hand writing?!?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

hand coding (standard term dude) vs machine coded. as in; typing html tags by hand (key by key) rather than having a machine do it for you.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Nope. Doesn't suck. It's how to do it right.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

if you say so Sir. it's an outdated approach, prone to errors, wastes time, adds overhead in maintenance. use a markup & machine it out, ftw

That is the dumbest shit I ever heard. I hope you love your div soup.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

think we must be misunderstanding each other. div soup is exactly what I avoid. I also avoid writing tags, so it's clearer & content focused

If you're against hand coding, you're for one of two things: WYSIWYG (aka "design view) or available themes in a CMS. (1/2)

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

(2/2) WYSIWYG produces garbage markup. Available themes try to be too many gigs for too many people ... garbage code.
