So what is it then? I'm saying Inoceramus clam. Can anyone with real knowledge assume or argue it is anything other than a shell?

This was part of a much larger rock. I assumed that it contained various shells so I took advantage of the cracks in it to beak parts of it off. After cleaning it up I realized that it is not many shell fossils but part of a single massive 300lb plus Inoceramus clam. The stuff seen in it are likely parasitic marine biology that lived on and in the substance of the shell

To especially note that bulb shaped thing. I've seen it in other posts about inerceramus...but no one has mentioned what it is. My theory is a shell boring parasite of some kind

Maybe post up a few photos so we can see the whole item. And a banana.

I'll try that but my experience is that a flat 2D photo people say they can't see it or they blow it up till it's out of focus then blame me

Saw your other post, said 'pelecypod of some kind' but couldn't get real idea of scale other than 'big'. Good find.

There was another post with static images, not jumpy video. Didn't say inoceramus in the title, so all I could say was 'clam of some kind'.

Yes there was someone wanted photographs without the jumpy video. So I posted another.
